Our meeting

  • Jesus, Prince of Peace Institute
    Tampa Friend John Arnaldi created the Jesus, Prince of Peace Institute as a new Christian community whose mission is to study and teach a transformative (redemptive) understanding of Jesus and His role as Prince of Peace. This Web site will provide a communication hub for our community and for networking with others, as well as providing an educational resource for seekers and peacemakers.
  • Trauma Healing and Reconciliation in Rwanda and Burundi
    Cecilia Yocum, who has worked in Rwanda and Burundi with Friends Peace Teams, presents an update on efforts in those countries to bring about trauma healing and reduce further violence.

    The American Friends Service Committee carries out service, development, social justice, and peace programs throughout the world. Founded by Quakers in 1917 to provide conscientious objectors with an opportunity to aid civilian war victims, AFSC's work attracts the support and partnership of people of many races, religions, and cultures.

    Friends General Conference (FGC) provides resources and opportunities that educate and invite members and attenders to experience, individually and corporately, God's living presence, and to discern and follow God's leadings. FGC reaches out to seekers and to other religious bodies inside and outside the wider Religious Society of Friends.

    Friends World Committee on Consultation acts in a consultative capacity to promote better understanding among Friends the world over via joint conferences, intervisitation and the collection and circulation of information about Quaker literature and other activities.
